Virtus.pro have secured the first spot at the PGL Season 1 offline finals after seeing off Natus Vincere by a 3-0 scoreline (16-6 on de_inferno, 26-24 on de_train and 16-11 on de_overpass).
The first group in the PGL Season 1 European division came to a close on Saturday with the grand final, pitting Virtus.pro, who had just survived a thrilling five-map contest against Team SoloMid in the Consolidation Final, against Natus Vincere.
Due to coming from the Lower Bracket, Virtus.pro came into the match with a one-map disadvantage, but the Polish team quickly overcame that situation as they cruised to a 16-6 win on de_inferno to level the series up.
TaZ was the MVP of the series
Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas then went huge and gave Virtus.pro the victory on de_train on a silver platter with over 50 frags before the Poles sealed a magnificent 3-0 win with a 16-11 success on de_overpass.
